Free Marker Font

Here's the next font in the fearsome foursome:
I call it Marker Comp. I released another marker based font
awhile back, called Big Fat Marker. You can never have
enough marker, sign or brush fonts so here's another one.

To streamline my filing of my font creations
(and to make them visible to as many people as possible)

Free Vector Ribbon Background

I was designing some book jackets and I needed
to create some bold, futuristic background patterns
that had a science fiction feel but remained abstract.

It turned out great so I decided to create a few more variations and
offer them here for web desktop backgrounds or also for traditional
design work. So here they arein both Adobe Illustrator CS4 and
raster .PNG format (.PNGs are BIG!... 1440x1440!!!)



The idea I used is the warm color version shown in the lower left corner.
Using varied gradients and rectangles I created a rippling, metallic ribbon
effect that emerges from a dark, mysterious void. Then recolored it in
cool tones and earthier colors. Modifications created some colder and lighter
winter looking patterns. Consider those to be Futuristic Scotsman Kilts!

Free Printable Pumpkin Face Carving Templates

Halloween is just around the corner and everyone is always looking for some fun and frightening Halloween Pumpkin face template designs. I expanded the face designs from the Free Vector Art Pumpkins post I did a few weeks ago and made simple dotted outlines on letter size paper so you can print them out and use them to carve your pumpkins for Halloween. Most of the faces are simple enough to carve but some are complicated. The "Anonymous" Guy Fawkes mask design is very intricate and would require great skill and probably something more than the average kitchen knife, such as the great tools that Pumpkin Masters make. The tools are pretty much available at all major grocery stores and pharmacies in the seasonal Halloween display area at Ralphs, Kroger, Vons, Albertsons, Sav-On, Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS... you get the idea. Free Marker Brush Script Font

I love those sign painter style brush scripts so I went

Strawberry Fields Forever! Free Vector Art Strawberries

It's been 45 years since The Beatles released the song Strawberry Fields
and Paul and Ringo are the only two Beatles left.

I created these vector strawberries from a pencil drawing
I did a few years back for a breakfast food related logo.
The art never was used so I thought I'd offer it here for any
